Ezra and Ruby just finished summer camp this week. this was a dance preformance that Ezra did in "camp rainbow" ( he is the one with the tan long pants) . Clearly , hes into the dancing. i dont know what this means for his future endeavors.

"who let the dogs out" was the song they were dancing to.

He was frozen for the first 30 seconds with stage fright. But later, he loosens up.
This is Ruby with her "queen of hearts" that they made for an alice in wonderland puppet show in "RAZZLE DAZZLE" craft camp .
Razzle Dazzle Ruby!! their teacher was named turquoise --that just tells you about some of the hippe crafts that must have happened there. Ruby's hat is suppose to be a "sombrero" not a tea hat---she is always making hers uniquely different from everyone else.

lets just call this Pizza ---explosion of yumminess pizza. its whole wheat crust ( which was on an ever dissapointing pizza stone---cant figure out who ever gets good crust on these--i dont) but the toppings were vegetarian italian sausage, red peppers, and zuchinni--soo good.
My Absolute favorite salad. fresh salad greens from the garden. Arugula, varigated red/green , and romaine lettuce. and these killer pickled beets from the farmers market. in addition with candied pecans, orange slices, avocado, and goat cheese. top it off with home- made citrus vinagrette dressing.
this is our new addition--"peanut" . He is an African Pygmy Hedgehog-- Hes so cute!
Who can resist this face? he is really cute, its been a really great pet for our family. JUST FYI: HE'S NOT A RODENT!! People keep calling him that---but he's from the porcupine species!!
Just this week, Ruby has learned how to hold him and become very confident with his care and nurturing. Its been great to finally have a wonderful family pet. and with a lifespan of only 3 to 5 years---its perfect-- ha ha. by that time, maybe we'll be ready for a dog :)

Love the bangs. Love the summer camp pics. Turquoise? Seriously? DO you think her parents named her that, or she named herself. I think I once knew someone with the name Rainee - crazy hippies.... :)

I seriously want a hedgehog now so bad! How much was he!? And how often do you have to clean his cage?

Great pics. You've been busy lately!

That was Katie - not Doug. For some reason, it wouldn't let me log in b/c d was already logged in. Weird.

He's a porcupine? I thought you told Katie he was a hedgehog. Very cute little critter though Is it albino? One of my friends in HS had a hedgehog and it had much more color. Love the bangs. Of course you cut them yourslef...you're totally qualified- HELLO! I can't beleive how HUGE Lucille has gotten. She was still a baby last year at the reunion. She looks like a kid now and she looks just like you. Lucky girl. :)I remember that "Rainee" girl too. :)

Okay the hedgehog is awesome, we might be able to do a pet like that. And the kids are adorable, love the hair, and your pizza looks insanely good. To answer your camera question I don't have anything fancy, it's a Nikon coolpix L100, it was like $200 I think, anyway I like it because it takes great closeups which I tend to do a lot for the blog. Someday I'll have a fancy one though! And I'm glad I fool you with my "energy and gusto for life" !! Happy 4th.

The boys have been begging to go see your cute little guy. We'll have to get together some time soon-- we've been outside everyday, so feel free to come over any time!

HI Jill, I got your comment on my blog. To answer your questions...yes we did move to Utah. We have had a very crazy time trying to find and buy a home here so our transition has been rough to say the least. We stayed in my parents home in St. george until it sold. then we rented a place in draper for four months while we searched for a home but the woman who od she wanted to move back in so we had to find another rental. so we are now in a rental home in Lehi and we are still searching for a home. It has been a long process because of the strange market for homes that is so saturated in short sales. The short sales take forever and anything that is not a short sale seems to be way over priced for todays market. So we continue our hunt. What kind of transition is in your future? We sure would love to have you here. Take care.
